Sky sports launched its new studio, home to Monday Night Football. The new studio has an enhanced touchscreen featuring 3D virtual game reconstructions, alongside a massive LED floor that gives presenters a huge canvas to explain tactics and team formations.

Working within the Sky Sports Production team, I had the privilege of seeing the journey of a brand new envisioned studio go from concept to full completion. With the project name 'Greyhound' it was a word you couldn't escape as the buzz in the air became infectious to all those working in Sky Sports.
Making it's debut on the Man United vs Wolves game, viewers were entertained and captivated by the new look where pundits sat together and took discussions further by showcasing the new innovative technology whilst being filmed across the new Batcam wire cam system. The brand new studio includes LED Floor which will provide viewers with more insight and immersive viewing experience. Giving audiences better understanding of the games, it will provide viewing pleasure to all football fans.
Designed in-house by Sky Creative, the project started in early 2022, with a close-knit collaboration between design, product ion and technology teams in both the UK and Italy.
This new studio underscores Sky Sports' commitment to maintaining its position at the forefront of sports media, continuously pushing the boundaries to bring fans closer to the heart of their favourite games.

With Sky Sports being at the forefront of broadcasting, this is a pinnacle moment for the business where we continue to strive to give customers great value, whilst pushing the boundaries with innovative technology.
